We are leaving the world of white – in search of color – our Christmas lights stay up through February and into March. Each sparkle of the rainbow stark against the snowy outdoors. But as inspiring as they are in November, December, January, and February—come the whispering of spring weather, they are no match for the sunny beaches of Florida. The snow continues to fall, and John has kept up with it, but even his enthusiasm for skiing is waning. We will happily stow the dog mitts until next year and hopefully find those missing keys in our spring and summer pockets.

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22
— God ordains the cycles of creation; they are a steady, faithful backdrop to human life.

BOOK REVIEWS
Friends — remember when my first goal was just 25 reviews?
Thanks to you, Obedient Unto Death kept finding readers, and the target kept climbing. Now I’ve set two big goals: 200 reviews for Obedient and 150 for Fortunes of Death. If you’ve read either book (or know someone who might), would you do me a tiny favor? A quick star rating or one-line review on Amazon helps more than you know — it helps new readers discover the stories through Amazon’s recommendations.

Share the love, tell a friend, and if you leave a review, I’ll be endlessly grateful. ❤
