This summer’s magical lineup includes:

The Cornucopia Library Board is sponsoring three Meet the Author talks.

  1. Rural Delivery by Gary Perkins, July 14th, his stories of small town life will touch your heart. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cornucopia, @ 2 pm.
  2. Impermanence: Life and Loss on Superior’s South Shore by Sue Leaf, August 18th, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cornucopia, @ 2 pm.
  3. June’s offering is TBD.

I was an invited author after Obedient Unto Death was published, and I have enjoyed the behind-the-scenes revelations of many other authors, including Wendy Webb, whose Lake Superior gothic suspense novels are set in a town suspiciously similar to Bayfield.

Don’t forget to check out your local libraries and bookstores this summer.

Last year, I delighted in a William Kent Krueger talk sponsored by the Apostle Island Book Sellers in Bayfield. I love his mystery series set in the Northwoods of Minnesota, eerily right next door to Wisconsin.
